Prevent resuming herbinate after open the lid of laptop?

Hi,

Every time I open the lid of my portable computer, it resumes hibernate (it does nothing if I turn off or put my portable computer in stand by mode). How to make computer does nothing when I open the its lid? My portable computer is a Toshiba Satelite.

In Control Panel, there is only a setting for “close the lid”. However, I want to do with “open the lid”. My laptop start after I open the lid. Sometimes I just want to open the lid to sweep, I don’t want to start Windows on my laptop.

Change your settings in control panel under power settings. I wouls suggest disalbeing hibernate.
